Senior Accountant

Grid Dynamics is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our expanding team. This is an exciting time to join our company as we continue our significant growth trend.**Responsibilities**:Serve as a main point of contact for assign foreign subsidiariesWork closely with the foreign finance team members, including third party accounting firms, to achieve accurate and timely monthly financial resultsPerform GL month end accounting close responsibilities, include journal entries and account reconciliationsPerform monthly revaluation, translation, intercompany eliminations and intercompany reconciliations during month closeTo ensure all intercompany transactions are applied in accordance with intercompany transfer pricing agreementsPrepare monthly and quarterly Forex translation differences analysis (IAS 21/FAS52)Prepare and reviewed international accounting packages for consistency and accuracyAssistance in testing of new entities and maintaining chart of accountsProvide international financial information to external tax consultants for corporate income tax returns preparation when neededPrepare, review and support the quarterly audit reviews and year:end auditImplement process improvements to streamlinethemonth end close and reduce close timeHelp to roll out processes of acquired companiesAssist in various ongoing and ad:hoc projects or initiatives requested by management**Requirements**:3:5 years of Public Audit experience1:2 years in Corporate Accounting (preferable)Strong experience in IFRS/US GAAPACCA/CPA or working on acquiring itFinancial consolidation expertise and experienceForeign currency accounting expertise and experienceStrong work ethicStrong analytical skills, detail:oriented and ability to multi:task and prioritize assignmentsStrong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skillsTeam player with an ability to work independently, with a positive attitude, who is pro:active and owns accountabilityAdapts effectively to new and changing environmentsMust be able to take the initiative on projects and tasksAbility to work required overtime during critical periods, such as month/quarter/year end reporting or special projectsExperience with NetSuite ERP is a plus, but not a requirement
