A well-established international specialist in eLearning and human capital management software for safety:MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBeing part or in whole responsible for accounting and month-end close process, financial reporting, profitability/cost analysis of certain business units, internal control, follow up on external auditors on audits and other interesting ad hoc projects for the CFO.As part of the Finance team, assists with month-end close process.Assist the Finance Manager with any ad-hoc accounting issues that might arise.Assist in the annual audit process with external auditors, including financial statements and audit schedules.Prepare, review, challenge and take actions on the account reconciliations performed, with the goal to constantly seek for accuracy of data.Update internal control questionnaires and risk matrix. Ensure an action plan is set up to mitigate the major internal control issues identified. Follow up on the plan.Assist with updating internal accounting procedures.Analyze variances versus prior year and budget; provide recommendations to Management when cost inefficiencies are identified.Create tools with the goal to better explain performance to management.Actively participate in Ad Hoc projects for the team and company.CANDIDATE PROFILEMinimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance, preferably master's degree.Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.5-8 years' experience with IFRS, especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, Group Consolidation.Transfer Pricing awareness.Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.Excellent interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization.Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data.Deadline-oriented.Commitment to uncompromising accuracy in data management.Experience using MS Office Suite and other commonly used office packages.2-year experience as manager from audit (preferably big 6) or multinational companies or equivalent.Required languages of Greek and English, with German being favorable.Excellent organizational and time management skills.The ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and manage own workload.Good team-working skills.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads and workplace.For this position, please contact Ross Pitman, quoting the above job reference or call +357 25 342 720 for further information.
