Key Responsibilities

- Software Development and Architecture: Write production-ready data pipelines, going towards self-documenting code that is aligned with the overall data architecture. Utilizes abstractions and code isolation effectively. Works in a specific stack. Implements detailed software design.
- Project Impact and Responsibility: Participate in the design of data architecture in one project and deployment. Create and modify useful views to improve existing reports.
- Stakeholder Communication: Utilizes this knowledge to ask Senior Engineers, Leaders or stakeholders for help on making decisions that may have security implications.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to Data Engineers, promoting best practices in cloud architecture and development.
- Continuous Improvement and operation: Proactively Identify and refactor data pipelines or projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (desired).

- 3- 4 years of working experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer (startup or healthcare background desired).
- 3-4 years of experience in a programming language such as Typescript (desired), Python or C#.
- 3 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases
- 3-4 years of experience working with a Cloud provider (preferably AWS using services such as S3, Lambdas, Step)
- Functions, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Redis, etc).
- 3-4 years of experience working with version control systems such as git. Ability to use Github Actions.
- 2 years Development Kit (CDK) for deploying cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of SQL queries.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Zoho Analytics preferred),
and tools such as Excel and Google Sheets (advance level required).
- Self-driven, autonomy, teamwork and strategic mindset.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable Skills

We value additional skills, such as:

- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with analytics toolsets beyond those mentioned (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
