The Sr. Director, Partner Engineering will be responsible for leading a global team building services, driving pipelines for those services, and the broad and deep enablement of partners.The Sr. Director, Partner Engineering comes to the role with a background that includes a proactive people-first and engaged leadership style, experience building and leading teams focused on service creation, revenue modeling, large technical proposal authoring, drive ecosystem partners and services, and a successful track-record of managing the technical element of global partnerships.Required Capabilities & ExperienceProactive people-first leadership capabilities with a strong focus on building the best platform for their team to successfully deliver a world-class partnership. A strong mix of people development, talent identification, business knowledge, and technical acumen is required.Successful experience partnering with VARs, Global GSIs and MSPs to create and consume services.Provides technical leadership and direction to partners and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions.Acts as technical thought leader to develop partner delivered solutions that meet the technology and business requirements.Serves as a trusted technology advisor that delivers technical and sales presentations to partners' technical staff and senior management.Exemplary relationship building skills with proven ability to drive lasting relationships of mutual value with partners and sales teams.Travel (International & Domestic Travels): 50%+Desired capabilities & experience5-10 years of sales engineering leadership experience, with a track record of leading high growth, high performance teams.Driven need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, "can do" approach.Entrepreneurial, willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, "get it done" attitude.Thrives in a moving, fast-paced environment handling multiple activities per day with immediate follow up.High business acumen and experience working with CxO level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve complex business challenges.Ability to demonstrate Rubrik's RIVET values.
