The Opportunity
The Latin America region is home to some of the world's fastest growing economies, with large-scale investment in infrastructure set for the coming years. We are looking to expand our footprint within Latin America from our base in Lima, Peru with potential opportunities throughout both Central and South America including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.
We are looking for ambitious and dynamic Planning Managers with a background in large NEC Civil Engineering Projects who are looking for an opportunity to deliver large infrastructure schemes with both a huge social and economic benefit for Latin America.

About You

You have a Civil Engineering Degree, a Construction-related qualification, or a Project Management qualification.
You can demonstrate experience in the delivery of large civil projects and programmes, you have the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and, ideally, you will have experience with the NEC contracts.
You have an advanced level of English or better and Spanish language skills are considered preferable but are not a prerequisite for the job.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and enjoy being a part of a strong, motivated team.
You will have the ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate reasoning and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing the schedule, evaluate schedule information, and identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities.
- Working with the cost team to develop reports and the controls team to prepare WBS.
- Preparing reports at a project and program level and work with the wider PMO team to ensure robust project controls processes, systems and tools are implemented on the program.
- Performing baseline schedule maintenance and control, managing the earned value management, analysis and reporting.
- Transferring knowledge of best practice earned value management to our nation-wide client and supply chain organisations.
- Developing and scheduling reports together with the planning and controls leads,
collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the program and project teams.
- Interacting with functional leads and sub-program leads to obtain schedule updates, monitoring actual performance against the schedule to identify delay, early and late completion.
- Interfacing with the project technical staff to define a change to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.
- Identifying and evaluating associated schedule, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues.
