Senior Risk Manager

The opportunity This is an opportunity to work on a government to government programme that is providing PMO, programme and assurance to the Peruvian Government across over 100 construction projects nationwide. A major aspect of our scope is to provide the knowledge transfer and upskilling for the Peruvian ministries, leaving behind a best practice legacy long after our commission ends.Your responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing the risk management system and reporting.Supporting the project teams in the identification, assessment and management of risks during the proposal and project implementation phases.Aligning the risk management efforts of the internal staff,contractors and third parties in the area of risk management to achieve project and programme goals. Ensuring that the project has up to date cost and schedule QRAs that match those risks in the risk register.Providing support, education and training to build risk awareness. Ensuring that the risk management procedures are communicated to all DSCSs and first tier contractors and that they comply.Capturing and disseminating risk management lessons learned/best practices back into the programme. Escalating appropriate project risks up through the programme.Working with project and cost managers to assess contingency levels and their management in accordance with the cost management/contingency draw:down values.About youYou are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
