You will serve as a key member of the Product Design team, designing, ideating, iterating, and reiterating pixel-perfect prototypes for a wide variety of Enterprise tools and experiences. You will unite forces with a freshly formed team of designers, researchers, and architects, designing the future of headless eCommerce & commerce B2B. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality research insights, low-fidelity prototypes, and some high-fidelity design documents through the entire product development lifecycle while adhering to our new Agile for Design teams methodology.Your Responsibilities:Understand the needs of our B2C and B2B customers, translating those into internal design requirements (through User Testing, Interviews, and competitive UX Research).Prototype and design top-of-the-line solutions for our core products, hands-on.Contribute to defining and implementing UX and design best in class principles through our organization, as well as driving those standards across multiple departments.Define UX Research needs, plan & conduct UT sessions, and document the outcomes well.Participate in user discovery sessions, design thinking, and journey/empathy mapping to drive a cohesive understanding of our users' pain points & blockers.Build detailed wireframes, information architecture diagrams, mental models, personas, usability testing scripts, site maps, user flows, and high + low fidelity prototypes.Interact with users to identify needs, pains, and gaps, as well as ideate on the fly.Deliver designs on time for sprint cycles continuously, while constantly raising the quality bar.Lead UX projects from the beginning to the end; through all phases of iteration & review.Learn, relearn, and share best practices with peers and higher-ups.Ensure adherence to design best practices, standards, research results & brand consistency.Use your analytical skills and strategic perspective to identify trends & recommend solutions that will help improve the user experience.Relentlessly seek user feedback and validation; rework your deliverables accordingly.You are:EgolessCuriousSelf-sufficientSelf-drivenA hard workerWell-organizedInspired by great designFriendly, communicativeHumble yet confidentEmpathy driven; both towards customers & teammatesWhat You Bring to The Table:5+ Years of experience (minimum) in UX design, UI+GUI or a tightly related design field.Proven knowledge of utilizing design best practices (in UX, UI & UXR).Stellar portfolio demonstrating both technical skills & creative thinking.Rapid sketching abilities.Proficient written & oral skills.A superpower to operate and invent optimally while under pressure.Superb skills in: Sketch, Figma, Invision & Adobe creative suite.Ample ability to turn complex interactions and designs into sleek & intuitive user experiences.It'll be great if you also:Have B2B or B2C experience.Have eCommerce experience.Have experience in planning strategy / driving deliveries.Worked in an agile environment before.Worked in a super-fast-paced startup before.Have experience involving Accessibility best practices in your design cycles.What We Bring to The Table:Competitive compensation packages.PTO and Holiday plans.Benefits packages which include Medical, Dental, Life, and Vision.Fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment.A team invested in you both personally and professionally.
