Based on the contract, the Chief of Party will lead and manage the overall activity, responsible for implementation, results, and management. They will supervise and lead the team, develop and oversee contract work plans, budgets, and reports, and ensure quality control and responsiveness of technical assistance provided under the contract.The position requires a Master's degree in international development, business administration, public administration, or a related field, with demonstrated experience supporting USAID MEL efforts, experience in the oversight of MEL or M&E development projects as Chief of Party, and understanding of USAID initiatives, practices, and policies.Minimum Qualifications:Demonstrated experience supporting USAID MEL effortsExperience in the oversight of MEL or M&E development projects as Chief of PartyDemonstrated understanding of USAID initiatives, practices, and policiesExperience designing and conducting evaluations, monitoring, and oversight of MEL and CLA tasks for international development projects, ideally funded by USAIDExperience managing research and/or M&E in Peru or the South America regionProven supervisory, mentorship, and leadership capabilities for all levels of local and international staffExcellent ability to deliver sound guidance, leadership, and solutions on a variety of M&E, Learning, Knowledge Management and other technical tasksExcellent demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and develop relationships with USAID, local professionals, international donors, host country government counterparts, and implementing partnersExcellent oral and written skills in both English and SpanishJob Title: Chief of Party (COP) for USAID South America Regional (SAR) Program Cycle and Monitoring, Evaluation, Collaboration and Learning Support Activity.
