The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (the West one with a capacity of 3,000 m3/hour and the East one with 2,700 m3/hour). Early works are currently being performed on site, preparing the permanent platforms and laydown areas for the East and West plants, in addition to the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule, and Execution Plan.Job Summary:In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders' involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.Major Responsibilities:Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility.Supports mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders' involvement.Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements.Enforces policies, procedures, and related work rules as established by field construction management.Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.Education and Experience Requirements:Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience.A1 License more than 5 years ago.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge in industrial electrical installations.Knowledge in electrical substations and industrial automation.Knowledge of National Electricity Code.Knowledge in AutoCAD.Knowledge of planning tools (3WLA).For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of engineers and beyond!
