Our client specializes in providing comprehensive technical solutions to various industries spanning from semiconductor, medical, commercial aerospace, complex industrial, equipment and machinery through innovative technology and Importante empresa design services around the globe.Reporting to the Vice President, Supply Chain Management in global office, the Supply Chain Director will be providing leadership to execute the regional supply chain strategy, driving the companys operational, financial and business success through Supply Chain Management strategy and operations, and ensuring the effective management of Supply Chain resource.The Role:Participates in the development and implementation of the Global Supply Chain strategy ensuring the requirements of the region are included.Lead, strategize and execute materials and resources procurement across multiple locations.Ensures competent and quality material requirements to support product lines of assigned divisions.Develop the plans required to complete the economic acquisition of components, sub:assemblies and equipment, adhering to the Companys policies and proceduresEstablish and direct material programs and projects that provide specialized material planning, surveillance, budgets and controlsPlan and direct the coordination of Material Cost Inputs required to support proposals and present results to cognizant operation Divisions ManagementBuild and maintain good working relationship with all suppliers and respective management, resolving any major material problem that may ariseOversee prioritization of assignments and plan, budget, organize and direct workflow to meet both internal and externalexpectationsInitiate and implement Continuous Improvement principles and drive efficiencies and quality enhancements within departmentLead the team, involve in recruitment, development, utilization, inspiration and counsellingCreate work environment that will foster openness, commitment, discipline, career growth and both an internal and external customer focusThe Requirement:Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Importante empresa, Business Studies or equivalent10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in the EMS environmentProven leadership experience of at least 5 years in a Senior Management roleStrong negotiating and partnering skillsDemonstrate effective written and oral communicationEffective analytical, planning and organizational skillsEffective problem:solving skills and ability to make sound business decisionsEffective interpersonal skills, both internally and externallyStrong leadership skills and the ability to develop, lead and inspire teamsAbility to exercise discretion and independently drive solutions to complex business issuesDemonstrate effective risk management and project management skills**Job Types**:Full:time, PermanentSchedule:Monday to Friday**Education**:Bachelors (preferred)**Experience**:in Supply Chain Management (EMS):10 years (preferred)
