Each satellite can connect over two million people, and we're very excited for the impact we'll soon have in the Philippines, Peru, Mexico, and more!Backed by substantial funding and a passionate, collaborative team, we offer a rewarding work environment where you'll learn and make a significant impact, no matter where you are in your career.Apply and join us on our journey towards global connectivity!Senior Power Electronics EngineerAs a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will be tasked with conceptualizing, designing, testing, validating, and otherwise owning power converters and power systems. You will work with a range of multidisciplinary team members to engineer the best solution, trading size, weight, cost, power efficiency, thermal management, and other key requirements.You will be joining an established team of experienced power engineers working to create the next generation of power conversion on our next generation satellites. Day-to-day will include simulations, schematic, layout, and hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and optimizing. Every day is a new exciting challenge to build what hasn't been built, and a new exciting opportunity to put your skills to the test engineering the future of the space industry.Role:Technical ownership of design of kW-level power systems for our satellitesManage and control key components such as solar panel arrays, power regulation and distribution, and high-density batteriesIntegrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the teamAssist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent4+ years of experienceA passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and developmentExperience in designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuitsExperience with kW level power electronics (DC-DC conversion, AC-DC conversion, etc)Experience with PCB thermal considerationsMastery of electrical CAD (Altium preferred, but not required)EMI/EMC experienceDon't meet them all?
