Each satellite can connect over two million people, and we're very excited for the impact we'll soon have in the Philippines, Peru, Mexico, and more!Backed by substantial funding and a passionate, collaborative team, we offer a rewarding work environment where you'll learn and make a significant impact, no matter where you are in your career.As the first Project Manager for configuration management at Astranis, you will be responsible for developing and implementing configuration management best practices across the company.In this role, you will:Drive document control within Arena PLM.Work with engineers across the company to ensure required design and document revisions are prioritized to meet program needs.Develop solutions to automate configuration management processes and enhance integrations with Altium and Solidworks.Evaluate current list of configuration-controlled parts and equipment, identify gaps and implement solutions.Track project configurations and ensure changes are flagged appropriately.Work closely with supply chain to coordinate release timing of Astranis engineering drawings.RequirementsBS in Engineering or similar.More than 2 years in a configuration management role.Highly detail-oriented.Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, overcome obstacles with creative solutions, and clearly document/communicate tactical plans.Experience implementing and managing configuration management systems at an aerospace, automotive or similar established company.Experience with industry PLM and configuration management tools and systems.BonusFamiliarity with Jira, Altium, Altium Enterprise On-Prem, Solidworks, Arena.What we offer:All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.
