Summary of Role
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Email and Collaboration Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our email systems and collaboration tools, ensuring seamless communication and productivity across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Email System Management: Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange servers.
2. Collaboration Tools: Manage and support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration platforms.
3. User Support: Provide technical support and training to users on email and collaboration tools.
4. Security:
Implement and monitor security measures to protect email and collaboration systems from threats.
5. Integration: Ensure seamless integration of email and collaboration tools with other enterprise systems.
6. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to email and collaboration tools promptly.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
8. Upgrades and Updates: Plan and execute upgrades and updates to email and collaboration systems.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Microsoft Exchange and collaboration tools.
3. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or similar certifications preferred.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange.
2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
3. Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
4.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have:
1. Azure Active Directory: Experience with managing and integrating Azure AD.
2. Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
3. Mobile Device Management (MDM): Knowledge of MDM solutions like Intune.
4. Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles and tools.
5. Scripting Languages: Experience with other scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
6. Third-Party Integrations: Experience with integrating third-party applications with Microsoft 365.

Virtualization Technologies: Understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
8. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation and experience in a customer-facing role.
