Associate Director, PB: Product Solutions MY
Responsible for idea generation and development of products in the respective asset classes or areas of specialization such as Equities, Funds, FX, Fixed Income, Structured Products, and Alternative Investments.
Development of products to be well thought-out, well-studied, and analyzed that includes the complete onboarding of a new product onto the product shelf of the business.
Provide written product proposals incorporating market research, rationale for the product, and product specifications.
Assess product opportunities and manage relationships with product providers from within CIMB and external parties and prioritize products for development.
This also includes conducting due diligence on business partners.
Liaise and coordinate with the product providers/manufacturers to ensure proper implementation of new products.
Ensure standard operating procedures relating to respective asset classes are up-to-date.
Provide support to Private Bankers and Operations team on ad-hoc requests for information in relation to products and services offered by Group Private Banking.
Responsible for the management of products.
Liaise with the Equity Capital Market unit of the bank for information on IPOs/placement to be broadcasted to the floor.
Key Requirements

Bachelor or Master's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics or equivalent professional qualification).
Complete Module 6 and Module 7.
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with financial institutions.
Has capital market and investment knowledge.
