Company DescriptionImportante empresa, in partnership with the Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco Project, one of the largest copper deposits in the world, located in the Moquegua region, in southern Peru.Quellaveco will have a reserve life of 30 years. It will use an open pit and flotation mining process to produce copper concentrates, as well as molybdenum and silver as by:products. The team's mission is to ensure the security of people, operations and assets through the best use of technology, security practice and intelligence thereby supporting the business to meet its strategic goals and deliver its Burning Ambition.PURPOSEThe Threat Intelligence analyst role will support Quellaveco and act as Group Security's intelligence representative, responsible for providing close, in country support to Quellaveco whilst simultaneously being the principal conduit for information sharing and intelligence management between the business unit and Group Security. Working closely with regional Security Managers, quellaveco management and other Quellaveco stakeholders as well as intelligence analystsattached to other BUs, the postholder will identify threats to operations through the management of intelligence and provide timely reporting to Quellaveco and Group Security following established Group Security processes.KEY TASKSSafety and Health:Demonstrate behaviour in line with health, safety and environmental standards and with Group values.:Participate in relevant safety audits, inspections and observations, and address any issues.Performance and DeliveryThreat Intelligence role:Develop and maintain local intelligence processes and standards in line with the Group Security policy.:Analyse threats and security incidents at strategic, operational and community levels to identify and monitor security threat sources through to threat closure or until a control measure has been identified.:Identify data that could be used for analysis to establish trends and main threats to operations.:Monitor local security intelligence collection to ensure it is proportionate to business needs by identifying and comprehending the businesses' intelligence requirements and ensuring collection gaps are identified and addressed.:Work closely with Quellavecos Protective Security staff to identify, assess and grade local sources under the direction and authority of Group Security in order to provide valuable intelligence and to increase coverage in response to identified knowledge gaps.:Prepare reporting as required by Quellavecos executives or as directed by Group Security and deliver the reporting in a timely fashion to a high standard in the required format.:Support Intelligence analysts in other Group business units if so directed by Group Security.:Establish relationships with external intelligence analysts to enable better exchange of information and to keep abreast of changes in country specific changes, including legislative directives or new technologies impacting threat intelligence.People and
