**DUTIES**:USAID Project Management Specialist (Budget) serves on a dynamic team to support U.S. foreign policy and further development in Peru and the South America Region (SAR). Development Program Specialists will use and advance their skills to strategically plan, communicate, and implement programs that support USAID/Peru's development objectives and the SAR development portfolio. The Specialist serves as the Regional Program Office (RPO) Budget Specialist.Duties include managing all aspects of budget planning and execution across the USAID Program Cycle. The Specialist advises RPO leadership, the USAID/Peru Front Office and technical teams on budget-related issues and program policy decisions. The Budget Specialist collaborates with the contract and finance offices to maintain accurate budget data for planning and use; prepares and utilizes financial data for Mission and Bureau-wide plans and reports; and coordinates with USAID/Washington to facilitate timely availability of funding. The Specialist may liaise with high level Government of Peru (GOP) officials in several key ministries and offices; and provides coordination on the budgetary aspects of the development and implementation of USAID's bilateral Assistance Agreement (DOAG) with the GOP. The Specialist is a principal advisor to Mission technical teams on program planning and development, and provides advice and mentoring to leadership and employees of other USAID entities in the region on conducting, developing, managing, and utilizing budgets and budget forecasts.**EXPERIENCE**:At least five years of progressively responsible experience in project management, financial management, accounting, administration, or related field is required.**EDUCATION**:A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Social Sciences, Business, Liberal Arts, Humanities, or related field is required.**HOW TO APPLY**:**Salary**: S/.137,231.00 per year
