WMF Peru Director of Development and CommunicationsWorld Monuments Fund Peru is seeking to open a new role of Director of Development and Communications to manage all aspects of fundraising and communications, campaigns and special events, including the formulation of the strategy to identify opportunities for funding and to enhance communication impact.Reporting to WMF Peru's Executive Director, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Development WMF New York, and to the Vice President of Communications WMF New York, you will lead a small and dedicated team.

It is the only affiliated office of WMF in Latin America, a milestone that reaffirms our role in protecting the cultural legacy of the region.For this newly created position, WMF Peru seeks a compelling leader who will have the following responsibilities:Directly manage all WMF Peru's fundraising and communicational activities.Report to WMF Peru's Executive Director, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Development WMF New York and to the Vice President of Communications WMF New York.Report to the WMF Peru Board of Directors at each of the regular sessions, in accordance with the agenda.Work closely with WMF's global headquarters staff in New York.Develop with the Executive Director a curatorial vision for all initiatives, campaigns, and special events, to strengthen the loyalty of current donors, identify new funding opportunities, expand the constituency, and enhance the visibility of the organization.Create and foster relationships with the press, academia, governmental organizations, project partners, and key organizations in the heritage field, as well as institutions focused on the environment, community development, social responsibility, and education.In close cooperation with the projects team, help to identify new funding sources and strengthen relationships with current donors.Explore ways to advance WMF's educational and thought leadership role, building on the experience acquired through WMF's field projects.Others assigned by the Executive Director.QualificationsMinimum of ten years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, and communications.Experience in the historic preservation field and/or social corporate responsibility is preferred.Master's degree in a related field is a plus.A broad and informed point of view about the importance of cultural heritage.Solid knowledge of the digital landscape and fundraising and communications systems and analytics.Demonstrated high management experience and skills.Fluency in Spanish and English; additional French desired.EEO StatementWorld Monuments Fund is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions regardless of race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.Application ProcedurePlease submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample (up to 10 pages) to ****** by 5 pm (Peru Time) January 31st, 2025.Candidates must be authorized to work in Peru.Only those whose applications are being considered will be contacted.
