This role leads Planning, Capital Investment Management functions. Engages with Newmonts Corporate and Regional Planning function and Site LeadershipPurposeLeads the planning and forecasting process for Yanacocha in accordance with the regional and corporate planning processes and timelines.Leads the site planning, monitoring and administration of capital, advanced projects and exploration investments and support evaluation for Yanacocha in accordance with the Investment System.Essential DutiesLead the design of initial setup of the Planning and Forecasting processes with the Site Leadership team, aligned with the Regional and Corporate planning process.Lead the preparation, optimization and submission of the LOM business plans (budgets), strategic plans and forecasts, providingoptimized physicals, operating costs, and capital cost plans.Support regional consolidation of the business plans and forecasts, serving as the Site Liaison and site expert for plan analysis.Undertake strategic thinking to identify and pursue issues that should be considered in the planning process as well as provide meaningful query and analysis prior to Regional and Corporate submissions;and p rovides business support to the VPP and the SBM for analytical and budget requirements.
