Job DescriptionCelina Aluminum Precision Technology is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Evaluate manufacturing processes by conducting research programs while applying knowledge of products, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.Must be capable of producing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule.Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods by observing and working on the production floor.
Must be able to make adjustments to the equipment and help maintain equipment.Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating labor and material costs.Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards.Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.Maintain product and process database.Make written and verbal presentations to management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in the Engineering field or equivalent engineering experience (3-5 years).Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods by observing and working on the production floor.
Must be able to make adjustments to the equipment and help maintain equipment.Computer Proficiency.Robotic Experience.Must be capable of producing and maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule.Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.Collect and analyze data to implement improvement countermeasures by comparing before and after baselines and results.Must be able to communicate in written and verbal forms to Supervisors, Engineers, and General Associates in a professional manner.Must be able to lift/carry 40lbs.
Have the ability to access any area of the production floor.
Assist production with manufacturing trouble including some repairs.
