Plant Controls EngineerUse plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, follow up on machinery projects and installations.Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems.Update program backups for machinery.Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems.Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements.Skills Required:Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls - Siemens and/or Indramat PL7.Electrical background (electrician or technician) with related experience.Experience with Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives.Familiarity with VFD's, Armor starts, encoders, and network/Ethernet controls.Experience Required:2+ years of related controls and debug experience.Education Required:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.Additional Requirements:Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement in quality and delivery.ABB robot experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, and interpret and modify electrical schematics.Ability to read blueprints.Additional Information:Fully onsite.
