To learn more please visit about GGGI web page.**GENERAL INFORMATION**:- **Consultancy**: Technical assistance service to carry out an economic evaluation, through the cost-benefit analysis (CBA), of the mitigation measure linked to the NDC of Cessions in Use for Agroforestry Systems (NDC - CUSAF), in the period 2024 - 2030.- **Estimated period**: August 1,2023 to October 15, 2023 / estimated 75 days**PROJECT BACKGROUND**:In Peru, GGGI, in consortium with the World Agroforestry Center (ICRAF) and the Peruvian Society of Environmental Law (SPDA), is implementing the project "AgroFor : Consortium for the Promotion of Assignments in Use for Agroforestry Systems" financed by the Norwegian government. This initiative will help the government of Peru to create the institutional, technical and financial enabling conditions to allow the successful implementation at scale of agroforestry concessions (CUSAF) in the Peruvian Amazon. Through the CUSAF, family farmers will access qualifying titles for their lands conditional on the implementation of sustainable land use practices, with technical support and financial incentives.Through objective 1.2 of the AgroFor project, it seeks to improve the conditions for the implementation of CUSAF since agroforestry has demonstrated the capacity to simultaneously address social, environmental and climatic challenges of agricultural production, including food security, territorial management, biodiversity conservation, climate-smart agriculture, land restoration, among others (1). This is because it is estimated that globally more than 40% of agricultural lands have at least 10% tree cover ( Zomer et al. 2016), a context where agroforestry is presented as a highly widespread alternative that makes it possible to contribute substantially to face various problems in the territory.It is in this context that Peru decided, in 2018, to define as one of its climate commitments in the thematic area of land use, change of use and forestry (USCUSS), to establish an NDC measure of Agroforestry Systems (SAF). This measure is under the jurisdiction of the National Forestry and Wildlife Authority - SERFOR and is currently in the process of being updated by SERFOR itself, with the support of the AgroFor Project. Specifically, it seeks to update the Tentative Programming of the SAF measure, which is aimed at increasing its ambition, increasing the potential for reducing emissions.In this context, GGGI requires the hiring of a consultant with specialization in costs and/or budget to develop the cost-benefit analysis of the mitigation measure linked to the NDC of Assignments in Use of Agroforestry Systems ( NDC- CUSAF), as well as in the identification of public or private funds that finance the implementation of said measure.(1) Sinclair et al. 2019, Vira et al. 2015, McNeely and Schroth 2006, Quandt et al. 2018, FAO 2017**GENERAL OBJECTIVE**:Prepare a financing proposal for the implementation of the NDC measure of Assignments in Use for Agroforestry Systems (NDC-CUSAF), including its enabling conditions, through cost-benefit analysis (ACB), within the territorial scope prioritized by the AGROFOR project.**SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES**:- Determine the total cost, identifying direct and indirect costs, required to implement the NDC - CUSAF mitigation measure; as well as the enabling conditions, in the period 2024 - 2030.- Identify enabling conditions that count, partially or totally, with financing in the current Fiscal Year.- Prepare the cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of the NDC-CUSAF mitigation measure.- Determine the financing gap for the implementation of the NDC - CUSAF mitigation measure in the period 2024 - 2030.- Generate budget information that serves for decision-making by SERFOR and/or prioritized Regional Governments; as the financing of the additional public budget (current or investment spending) or private (international cooperation).- Identify potential funding sources or funds for the implementation of the NDC-CUSAF.**DELIVERABLES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE**:The consultant will carry out the following activities:- Prepare a work plan that includes the list of documents to be reviewed, work methodology, scope of work, and the tentative schedule of activities.- Review the regulations for the tentative programming of the measure and other policy and research documents that are relevant to this consultancy.- Review the progress of the NDC-CUSAF updat
