A day in the life:
1. Analyse and evaluate requests for engineering applications and systems based on user needs and requirements.
2. Responsible for advanced support of BIM/CAD and engineering application software within WSP Americas.
3. Collaborate with Business stakeholders, Engineering Software Support Team, and Information Management Team and contribute CAD/BIM expertise to help automate critical engineering processes to help achieve efficiencies.

Manage introduction and use of new and updated engineering software products within the WSP Americas business as well as on large individual projects.
5. Recommend use of appropriate engineering software tools and engineering document collaboration systems (e.g., BIM360/ACC, ProjectWise, ArcGIS, SharePoint Online).
6. Participate and contribute in formalizing requirements, testing and acceptance process for release of new Engineering applications, and coordinate successful deployment of applications onto client machines.
7. Help develop training and change management plans around the use and adoption of Engineering application tools and software across the business.
8. Maintain technical support documentation, knowledgebase articles for Engineering applications and share related knowledge effectively.
9. Perform system testing, manage the UAT,
the acceptance process for release of new Engineering applications, and coordinate successful deployment of applications onto client machines.
10. Continually improve the processes around engineering application delivery working with WSP Partners.
11. Assist in the management of licensing of engineering applications and associated reporting.
12. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends and standards in engineering and design systems.
13. Identify training requirements for users of various engineering software applications; recommend and coordinate training.
14. Communicate with and support end users.
What you'll bring to WSP:
1. Degree in IT or Computer Science or 5-7 years supporting engineering applications.
2. Experience with engineering software (including AutoCAD, Revit, ProjectWise, BIM360/ACC) is an asset.
3.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
5. Proficiency in French and Spanish is highly desirable.
6. High-level working knowledge of either ACC/BIM360, ProjectWise, SharePoint.
7. Preferable previous experience working on major infrastructure projects.
8. Experience in Digital Engineering processes and management practices.
