We're searching for an experienced,
visionary Senior UX/UI Designer with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of impactful user experiences. You must be a forward-thinking designer who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves problem-solving through design, and is passionate about building user-friendly and visually appealing experiences.
In this role, you'll be integral to transforming ideas into intuitive, effective, and engaging designs by collaborating closely with key stakeholders. Your role will involve not only creating compelling visuals but also illustrating design concepts through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps, using innovative techniques to influence the product roadmap.
What's the role?
- Take ownership of the end-to-end design process from leading, ideating, and directing the design process for our products, working closely with the Product Management team (mobile and web) and ensuring alignment with our business goals.
- Research target users and build profiles, perform task analysis, and create user scenarios and user flows to translate requirements into intuitive design solutions.
- Conceptualize and develop wireframes, comps, storyboards, paper and electronic prototypes as needed to communicate designs to the rest of the team and company stakeholders.
- Elevate design systems by identifying opportunities for high-impact improvements across styles, components, patterns and views, enhancing our design system cohesiveness and scalability.
- Rapidly iterate on mockups and comps using a combination of modern design and prototyping tools, paper/pen, whiteboard, graphical editing software and HTML / CSS.
- Work with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, customer service, marketing) on various applications, user flows and commerce-driven projects.
- Drive user and market research by leading and participating in research efforts to produce product analysis, refine user journeys,
and develop improvements based on data and user feedback.
Who are we looking for?
- At least 5-7 years of UX/UI experience.
- Have expert level skills in one or more graphical editing software, such as Photoshop or Sketch. The more diversity, the better.
- Have experience with one or more prototyping or mockup tools, such as Balsamiq, InVision, Axure, Proto.io, HotGlue, etc.
- Experience with collaborative design tools and technologies is a big plus.
- Excellent understanding of user experience design for SaaS Applications and Progressive Web-Apps (PWA).
- Experience with user-testing, either in-person or with A/B test setups.
- Ability to research customer needs, new product designs/features and think critically about future demands.
- Familiarity with user-interface guidelines and best practices for major platforms (iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Desktop),
and the limitations/expectations of each.
