The USAID AmazonRegional Environment Program (AREP)
Value-chainOpportunities for Indigenous Conservation Enterprises (VOICE) Activity is a5-year activity that aims to improve indigenous and Maroon peoples' capacitiesacross the Amazon region to pursue inclusive community development involvingcommercial activities that are environmentally and economically sustainable aswell as respectful to indigenous rights and culture.
This activity will promoteregional conservation of natural resources in the Amazon through forestprotection, sustainable practices, strengthened local governance, andassociated activities.
The primary componentsof this activity are as follows :
1. Support targeted Indigenous and / or the Maroons in the Amazon to keep the forest alive through conservation enterprises.
2. Improve governance and technical capacities of Indigenous and / or Maroons to enhance and strengthen activities that promote forest conservation and sustainability in their territories, solutions, and fostering economic growth.
Position Summary
Palladium is seekingmultiple experts to provide technical leadership in the areas of :

- Private Sector Engagement in sustainable livelihoods
- Nature-based Solutions
- Climate Finance
- Market Systems Development
- Community-based Ecosystem Management
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Forest Ecosystem Management
- Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion
- Grants Management
- Communications
- GIS / Information Systems
- Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
- Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA)
These positionswill be based in Peru and are contingent upon funding availability and USAID approval.
Candidate Requirements
- Master's Degree or higher in relevant related fields for the technical areas listed above.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field of expertise.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with USAID or other donor-funded programs.
- Experience working in Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Suriname, Guyana, Ecuador or similar contexts.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Citizens of Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Suriname are strongly encouraged to apply.
