The Data Team Lead will oversee the development and validation ofstatistical models, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of dataacross the organization.
This role involves close collaborationwith other team leads and departments to support data-drivendecision-making and ensure consistency in data handling andreporting.
The Data Team Lead will manage a team of data engineersand analysts, guiding them in collecting, organizing, andvalidating data for various business purposes.
Essential Functions : - Work closely with other department leads, including FinancialPlanning, Analytics to ensure data is accurate and reliable acrossall models and reports.
Act as the central point of contact for alldata-related activities and ensure smooth data flow between teams.- Lead the development and validation of statistical models forforecasting and risk analysis.
Oversee the team's creation ofmodels related to credit forecasting, risk evaluation, and otherkey business metrics. - Ensure the accuracy and reliability of thedata used in all models and reports.
Work with the Data EngineerAnalyst and Econometric Analyst to verify that data intake,validation, and security protocols are followed, ensuring high dataquality across departments.
Lead and mentor a team of DataEngineer and Econometrics Analysts, providing guidance on modelcreation, data management, and analytics.
Requirements - 100%fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and writtencommunication skills - Bachelor's degree in Data Science,Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experiencein data management, statistical modeling, and leadership rolespreferred. - Strong experience in statistical models, quantitativeanalysis, and data validation.
- Proficiency with data managementtools and software. - Proficiency in working with large datasetsand guiding data engineers to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complexprojects.
- Experience with Microsoft : Outlook, Excel, Word,PowerPoint required;
